ELPALAFQUEN is a mapuche word (natives from the place) which comes from “elpa” descendants and “lafquen” lake. This name was given to the first lake formed after the retreat of the last glacier, during the melting period. We chose this word because this is the area in which we often take our fishing trips.
Sport fishing is our main activity. *Fly fishing* Spinning (with artificial bait) both on wading or engineless rafts)* Trolling (drifted by engine) * Floating. We offer half day (4 hs) and whole day (8 hs) trips with no more than two fishermen per boat accompanied by a professional fly fishing and rafting guide.
